The Association intends to represent and connect individual psychiatrists and ALL mental health professionals from around the globe.

We want to be non-bureaucratic, non-judgemental, kind and inclusive for all. We finally want to support patients from around the globe.

Our Mission

The Global Psychiatric Association was founded in 2020 by like-minded psychiatrists and clinical psychologists.

• We will support all professionals working in clinical and academic psychiatry and intend to support psychiatric services and education around the globe.
• We intend to allow young clinicians and researchers to network and post important information even if they are working in less advantaged places.
• We want to be completely democratic, supportive, flexible and non-judgemental.
• We want to avoid extensive bureaucracy and give a voice to every individual professional working in psychiatry.
• We will not accept derogatory, racist, sexist, ageist, nationalistic or any negative comments.
• We intend to help and support all persons suffering mental health problems.

What we have achieved so far

• We have published Global Psychiatry Archives since 2018 with over 110 articles from around the world.
• We have presented four international online conferences with global participants.
• The next online conference is on the 12–13 September.
